Death Becomes Us

Intimacy and attachment to objects, within the broader context of sacred place mimic an underlying fascination with objectification of loved ones departed. Fragments of objects take on new meaning as the everyday transcends into the sublime. Drawing us into the realm of spiritual signification these objects are holy iconography that connect human longing to the possibility and hope of an immortal afterlife.
